The social media tools agents actually pay for, and what each one leaves to you
Short answer
It depends on which part of the job you want gone. Schedulers like Later and Buffer post what you already made. Template libraries like Coffee & Contracts and Agent Crate hand you designs to edit. PropWalk ($79.99 a month) and RealEstateContent.ai ($119) make the posts from your listing and post them for you.

Heads up: we make PropWalk, so it's on this list and you should weigh that. Every price below is from that company's own pricing page on September 29, 2026, and the links are at the bottom so you can check them yourself.
Posting is three jobs wearing one name. Somebody has to decide what to say, somebody has to make the thing, and somebody has to put it up on the right day. Most tools do one of the three. That's why agents end up paying for a stack and still not posting.
The short version
| Tool | Price | What it does | What it leaves to you |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buffer | Free for 3 channels, then $5 a channel | Schedules posts | Making every post |
| Later | From $25 a month | Schedules posts, shows your grid before it goes out | Making every post |
| Hootsuite | From $99 a month, billed yearly | Scheduling and reporting for up to 10 accounts | Making every post |
| Canva | Free plan, paid plans above it | Design templates for anything | Writing it, picking the photos, posting it |
| Coffee & Contracts | $74 a month | Weekly real estate content, captions and a content calendar | Putting your listing in it, and posting |
| Agent Crate | $59 to $199 a month | 500+ templates; the $99 plan posts 4 times a week for you | On the $59 plan, editing and posting |
| RealEstateContent.ai | $119 a month | Writes, designs and posts, from a topic or a listing link | Approving it |
| PropWalk | $79.99 a month | Makes 90 posts a month from your listings and posts them | Approving it |
If you already make your own posts: a scheduler
Buffer, Later and Hootsuite all do the same core thing: you load the post, pick the day, and it goes out. Buffer is the cheap one, free for up to 3 channels with 10 posts queued on each. Later is built around Instagram and shows you the grid before anything is live. Hootsuite starts at $99 a month on a yearly bill and is built for a marketing team, which is more than one agent needs.
None of them make anything. If the reason you haven't posted in three weeks is that you never got around to making the post, a scheduler is an empty calendar you pay for.
If you want designs to start from: a template library
Coffee & Contracts is $74 a month, $199 a quarter or $740 a year for one agent. You get new content every week with captions, a content calendar, Instagram analytics and a members group. It's known for the polished, lifestyle look.
Agent Crate starts at $59 a month for the calendar and a library of 500+ templates you customize in Canva. The $99 plan adds 4 Instagram posts a week published for you and pushed to Facebook. $199 gets you 3 posts a week designed in your colors with your logo and headshot.
What a library can't know is your listing. The templates are written for every agent in the country at once, so the Just Listed post still needs your photos, your price and your address typed in by you.
If you want it made and posted: the two that start from the listing
RealEstateContent.ai is $119 a month or $999 a year with a 14-day money-back guarantee. It writes, designs, schedules and posts to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and X. You can paste a listing link for Just Listed through Just Sold posts, and it makes videos of you talking without you filming.
PropWalk is $79.99 a month. You type the listing address, and it makes a month of posts from that home: the property tour, tips for buyers and sellers, a bit about you, and the just listed and just sold posts. Captions are already written. You approve, and it posts on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, up to 3 a day. The plan also comes with 1 walkthrough video a month made from your listing photos, 15 photo edits and 2 listing websites. No contract. Cancel anytime.
Who should skip PropWalk
- You like designing. If an hour in Canva is the fun part of your week, a template library gives you more to play with.
- You post to LinkedIn or X more than Instagram. PropWalk posts to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- You run social for a brokerage and need reports and sign-offs across a dozen accounts. That's what Hootsuite is for.
How to pick in one question
Look at your last month and ask what actually stopped you. If the posts were made and just never went up, get a scheduler. If you didn't know what to post, get a library. If you knew, and had the photos, and still didn't get to it, you need the whole thing done, and that's the last two on the list.
Common questions
What is the cheapest way for a real estate agent to schedule Instagram posts?
Buffer's free plan covers 3 channels with 10 posts queued on each, and its paid plan is $5 a channel a month. It only schedules. You still make every post yourself.
Is Coffee & Contracts worth it?
At $74 a month it's worth it if you'll open it every week and customize what's there. If you won't, you're paying for a library you don't visit.
Which tools post to Instagram for you?
Agent Crate's $99 plan publishes 4 Instagram posts a week. RealEstateContent.ai ($119) and PropWalk ($79.99) both make the posts and publish them after you approve. Schedulers like Later and Buffer publish only what you load into them.
Do I need Canva if I use one of these?
For Agent Crate's template library, yes, that's where you customize them. For PropWalk and RealEstateContent.ai, no. The post arrives finished and you change the words or the photo in the app if you want to.
