How to turn one listing into a month of posts

Short answer

Split the listing instead of posting it once. The tour video goes first, then one post per best room, the neighborhood, the open house, a price or offer update, and the sold. Fill the days between with tips for buyers and sellers. One listing covers about a month.

Most agents post a listing once: ten photos, the address, "Just Listed!", done. It's gone from everyone's feed by lunch. The same home has a month of posts in it if you stop treating it as one.

Why the tour goes first

Instagram shows Reels to people who don't follow you. Lead with the tour and the rest of the month lands on a bigger audience. No camera needed: a walkthrough can be made from the listing photos you already have.

The posts between listings matter more

Sellers hire the agent they already know. The how-tos and the bit about you are what make you the one they know, so when the listing posts stop, those keep going. An account that only wakes up when there's something to sell reads like an ad.

Doing it by hand

Block two hours the day the photos come back. Make everything in the table in one sitting, write every caption, and load it all into a scheduler. Doing it a post at a time is how week two never happens.

Or type the address

This is what PropWalk does. Type the listing address and it makes the month from that home, captions already written: the property tour, the just listed and just sold posts, tips for buyers and sellers, and a bit about you. You approve, and it posts on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

Common questions

How many times should I post about one listing?

Eight to twelve times across the month it's active, each about something different: the tour, single rooms, the neighborhood, the open house, updates, and the sold.

Can I post a listing from Zillow to Instagram?

Instagram doesn't do link posts, so sharing the Zillow link gets you nowhere. Make posts from the listing's photos and details. Use photos you have the rights to, which for your own listing you do.

How often should a real estate agent post on Instagram?

Once a day is plenty and three times a week is the floor. Showing up every week matters more than any single post.
