How do I add a video to my Zillow listing?
Zillow’s own guide documents one way: a Showcase listing. The video, up to 120 seconds, is turned on in the Showcase editor with the “Show video in carousel” switch, at no extra cost. For a regular listing, many agents add a video link in the MLS instead.
Your first walkthrough is free: 15 seconds from up to 5 photos, no card.

We make PropWalk, so read this as a note from a company that makes listing videos, not as Zillow. We read Zillow’s Showcase guide on Nov 6, 2026. Its page on video for regular listings would not load for us, so that part below is marked as unconfirmed.
The steps in Zillow Showcase
- 1Get the video uploadedZillow says the video has to come through the same photographer who provided the listing’s other media, uploaded on Aryeo.
- 2Open the listing editorLog in to your Showcase account, open the listing, and choose to edit carousel media.
- 3Switch to videosPick your video and turn on “Show video in carousel” at the top left.
- 4SaveAccept the content reminder and save.
Zillow’s rules for the video
- One video per listing, up to 120 seconds.
- It shows as the second item in the carousel and plays on mute.
- It has to be mainly about the property.
- A short personal intro is fine. Persistent agent or brokerage logos, watermarks and ads are not.
- Videos that break the rules can be flagged or removed.
If your listing is not in Showcase
We could not read Zillow’s own words on this, so treat it as unconfirmed. Vendor blogs say that Zillow reads the virtual tour or video link field from the MLS feed, and that the video shows as a tour link, not in the carousel. Fields differ by MLS, and many MLSs reject branded video. Ask your MLS before you rely on it.
Making the video
PropWalk makes the walkthrough from the listing photos: 30 seconds from 10 photos on a plan ($49 a month, or $39 a month billed yearly), or a free 15-second one from up to 5 photos. It does not upload to Zillow. You download it, and keep the logos off the copy you send to Zillow or the MLS.
