How to turn a Zillow listing into a video

By the PropWalk team

The short answer

Paste the Zillow link into PropWalk. It pulls that listing's photos, and about 3 minutes later you have a 30-second walkthrough of the home, tall for Reels and TikTok and wide for Zillow and the MLS. Do it for your own listings: listing photos belong to the photographer and the listing agent.

What PropWalk makes

The video this post is about, made from the listing photos.

Upload the photos of the listing. You get a 30-second walkthrough, then four tall cuts for Reels, TikTok and Stories, posted for you. Tap one.

Cancel anytime.

  1. Copy the link. Open the listing on Zillow and copy the address bar. Or just type the address.
  2. Paste it into PropWalk. PropWalk pulls the listing photos for you. No downloading, no dragging files around.
  3. Check the order. Up to 10 photos make the 30-second walkthrough, in the order a buyer walks in: outside, entry, living room, kitchen, bedrooms, yard.
  4. Pick the shape. Tall for Reels, TikTok and Stories. Wide for Zillow, YouTube and the MLS video field.
  5. Download it, or let it post. About 3 minutes later it is in your inbox as an MP4. Approve it and it goes out on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok with the rest of that listing’s posts.

Whose photos you can use

Listing photos usually belong to the photographer and are licensed to the listing agent for that listing. So make videos of your own listings, or get the listing agent’s OK first. A video of someone else’s listing on your page is the fastest way to an angry phone call.

What you get

  • A 30-second walkthrough from up to 10 photos, 3 seconds a room. A 60-second tour from 20 photos counts as two videos.
  • The same rooms, layout and finishes as the photos. Nothing added.
  • A tall cut and a wide cut, standard MP4 files.
  • The week of posts for that listing around it: 7 posts a week, posted for you (30 a month) on Starter.

Questions

Common questions.

Do I have to download the photos from Zillow first?

Not on PropWalk. Paste the link or type the address and it pulls the photos. You can also upload them yourself.

How much does it cost?

Starter is $49 a month, or $39 a month billed yearly, with 1 walkthrough a month and 7 posts a week posted for you. Pro is $99 a month, or $74 a month billed yearly with 3. One listing with no plan is $39 once.

Is there a free way to try it?

Yes. A free account makes one 15-second walkthrough a month from up to 5 photos, at 720p, no card.

Can I put the video back on Zillow?

Yes, as the listing agent: Zillow and most MLSs take an MP4 or a video link for your listing. Use the wide cut, and follow your MLS rules on branding.
