Your Photos & Your Data
Last reviewed: August 25, 2026
This is the short, honest version of what PropWalk does with the listing photos you upload and the data on your account. The Terms of Service is the binding document; this page is the plain-English summary. If anything here seems to conflict with the Terms, the Terms win.
Your photos stay yours
You keep full ownership of every photo you upload, and of every video and photo PropWalk generates for you. We take only the narrow permission we need to do the job: to host your uploads, send them to the processing services that render your media, and deliver the results back to you. That is the whole use. We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them to train our own models.
One thing that stays on you: make sure you have the rights to the photos you upload. Listing photos are often owned by the photographer, brokerage or MLS.
What we generate, and what we label
Walkthrough videos are generated from the photos of the listing you upload. The software works from your images of the actual rooms; it does not pull in footage or imagery from other homes. Generated media can still contain small visual artifacts, which is why the Terms ask you to review every result before publishing it.
Staging, decluttering and renovation previews are disclosed-edit tools: they change what the photo shows, on purpose, and they are meant to be labeled as edited. In Settings you can pick an MLS disclosure label, such as "Virtually staged" or "Digitally altered photo", or write your own wording, and it gets stamped on labeled exports. Rules differ by MLS, so check yours. Never use edited media to misrepresent a property's real condition.
Where your files live, and how to delete them
Your uploads and generated media are stored on cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) so your library keeps working across devices. You can delete any video from your library at any time, which also disables its share page. You can also permanently delete your entire account from your Settings page: that cancels any live subscription first, removes your stored media, and then deletes your account record and history.
Your data is yours to take or leave
From your Settings page you can download a full export of everything we hold about your account as a single JSON file: your account details, credit history, subscriptions, and links to every video and photo you have generated.
Marketing email is only sent with a working unsubscribe link, and the software refuses to send a marketing email at all if it cannot include one. Once you unsubscribe, no more marketing mail goes out. Service emails, like sign-in links, receipts and "your walkthrough is ready" notices, still arrive, because turning those off would break the product.
Billing
All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep only a Stripe customer reference and your transaction history. Subscriptions bill through Stripe until you cancel, and you can cancel anytime from the billing portal.
On refunds, the Terms are direct and so are we: all purchases are final. Except where a refund is required by law, payments are non-refundable, including unused credits and unused time in a billing period. Canceling stops future charges; it does not refund charges already made. If a generation fails entirely on our side, its credits come back automatically. If a result comes out wrong, contact us: we may re-run the generation or add platform credits as a goodwill remedy, at our discretion, and any remedy is in credits or re-renders, not cash.
The watermark rule
Free renders carry a PropWalk badge. When you gain a paid entitlement, through a subscription, a credit pack, or the flat watermark unlock, the badge comes off, and it comes off retroactively: we keep a clean master of each free render, so unlocking flips your existing library videos to the clean file instantly, with no re-render and no quality loss. If an older video does not flip automatically, write to support and we will re-render it clean for free.
